This powerful curriculum is rooted in the fundamental lean training programs of the United States Armed Forces and enhanced by years of hands on experience across multiple industries. The practices communicated in this training draw upon guidance from a variety of industry leaders and merge the concepts derived from Lean, Six Sigma, and the Theory of Constraints (TOC) methodologies in order to provide students with a toolbox of resources in focusing on customer value and reducing waste, minimizing and eliminating variations (Six Sigma), and focusing improvement efforts on attacking process bottlenecks (TOC).

The TMG L6S curriculum address the technical, cultural, financial, and managerial components of process improvement, as well as how to apply tips and best practices to real work situations. Students will acquire an understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraint tools. These include Value Stream Mapping & Analysis, Visual Controls, 5S, workplace organization, Six Sigma project selection and validation. We focus on Lean Leadership, DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control), constraint management techniques, and the power of employee engagement. The integration of case studies and process tours helps draw direct correlation to real world applications.
