- TMG President Joe Barto addresses Manufacturing Leaders from across the US and Canada on the topic of “Culture”. Those attending are manufacturing thought leaders from the AME Champion’s group. -

Joe Barto shared three examples of Lean High Performance Cultures with Senior Executives at the Association of Manufacturing Excellence's Champions workshop in Montreal, Canada.  Joe used three examples to illustrate his theory that achieving a culture of deliberate continuous improvement-- the True Lean Journey requires Trust and Trust requires Team Stability.  Without Team Stability at the heart beat of the business Teams can not reach the maturity level required to envision and implement a Lean Journey resulting in improved business performance.  Joe shared three examples.  1.  TMG for how to build a culture of continuous improvement in a new company from the ground up.  2.  Ball Metal Williamsburg on how to change a culture from blaming and disengagement to problem solving and playing to win. 3.  The U.S. Army on how Team Stability and Engagement culture in the most difficult operational conditions in the world provides a platform for consistent near perfect performance in the busiest organization in the world.
